Creator guidelines

What you can put behind a link and on your page, what counts as real traffic, what a pass promises, and what happens if you cross a line.

1It has to be yours to give away

Put your own work behind a link, or work you have permission to distribute. Ripped courses, cracked software, leaked paid content and other people's media are the fastest way to lose an account here. See the DMCA page for how a claim gets handled.

2Never any of this

Not behind a link, not on your page, not in a title, a picture or a destination. Every line is a termination on first sight, and some of it we report. It is long because the card processor and the ad networks that pay everyone here keep long lists, and one creator crossing one of them can close the account that pays all of you.

Sexual and adult content

  • Pornography, nudity, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive material of any kind, including drawn, written, AI-generated or 'artistic' versions.
  • Any sexual content involving a minor, or anyone presented as one. Reported to the authorities, never just removed.
  • Intimate images shared without the consent of the person in them.
  • Escort, sugar dating, camming, fetish, adult subscriptions and links that lead to any of them.
  • Sex toys, sexual enhancement products and adult dating services.

Violence, hate and harassment

  • Gore, real violence, cruelty to people or animals, and material that glorifies any of it.
  • Terrorist or extremist content, recruitment or propaganda.
  • Hate speech, or content that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, gender, sexual orientation or age.
  • Harassment, threats, bullying, blackmail, sextortion, doxxing and the publication of anyone's private details.
  • Content that promotes suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.

Illegal goods and regulated products

  • Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and prescription medicine sold without a prescription.
  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives, weapon parts, 3D-printed weapon files and instructions for making any of them.
  • Tobacco, vapes, nicotine, alcohol, cannabis and CBD products.
  • Counterfeit goods, replicas, fake documents, fake IDs, fake diplomas and forged anything.
  • Human trafficking, smuggling, prostitution and the sale of people, organs, protected animals or wildlife products.

Money, gambling and schemes

  • Gambling, betting, casinos, lotteries, raffles, sweepstakes, loot boxes for money and prediction markets, including tips, signals and affiliate links for them.
  • Get-rich-quick schemes, pyramid and multi-level marketing, matrix programs, cash gifting and 'passive income' products that pay for recruiting.
  • Investment advice, trading signals, forex, binary options, crypto pumps, token presales, airdrop farms and anything that promises a return.
  • Money laundering, cash-out services, mule recruitment and the resale of payment accounts.
  • Gift card, game currency, credit and coin 'generators' and 'free unlock' pages. They do not exist, and a locker that promises one is a scam.

Piracy and other people's work

  • Cracked, pirated or 'nulled' software, keygens, license generators and modded apps.
  • Leaked paid content: courses, ebooks, subscriptions, OnlyFans and Patreon material, private videos and paywalled articles.
  • Copyrighted films, shows, music, games, books and comics you do not have the right to distribute, including ROMs, torrents, repacks and unauthorised IPTV or streams.
  • Anyone else's brand, name, likeness or logo used to look like them. Impersonating a person, a company or Linktain.
  • Game cheats, hacks, aimbots, wallhacks, exploits and account stealers for any game.

Malware, fraud and hacking

  • Malware, spyware, ransomware, stealers, remote access tools, botnets and anything that installs without a clear choice.
  • Phishing pages, credential harvesting, fake login screens and fake giveaways.
  • Stolen accounts, stolen credentials, 'logs', card data, checked cards, cookies and sessions.
  • Hacking services, DDoS services, SIM-swap services, carding and fraud tutorials.
  • Spam tools, mass mailers, comment bots, follower bots and sold engagement.
  • Sales of personal data, scraped databases, lookup services and background checks on private people.

Deceiving the visitor

  • A title, thumbnail or description that says one thing while the link leads to another.
  • Fake downloads, fake surveys, fake update prompts, fake virus warnings and countdown timers that lie.
  • Content that claims to be from a government, a bank, a court or a delivery company.
  • Health, medical and pharmaceutical claims, miracle cures, weight-loss products and supplements sold on claims a regulator has not approved.
  • Deceptive political content, election misinformation and coordinated inauthentic campaigns.

Fake traffic

  • Bots, click farms, emulators, traffic exchanges, paid-to-click and any traffic that fires a gate without a person choosing to.
  • Incentivised completion: paying, rewarding or instructing people to complete your tasks.
  • Completing your own gates from any device, address or account, or having friends do it for you.
  • VPNs, proxies and device spoofing used to look like a country or a device you are not.
  • Anything that automates, scripts or bypasses a gate, an offer or a payment.

4Real people, real traffic

Bots, click farms, forced clicks, incentivised traffic, pop-under floods and anything that fires the gate without a human deciding to are all fraud against the networks that pay us. We compare traffic against network reports, and conversions that a partner later reverses are reversed on your balance too.

5Do not touch your own gate

Completing your own tasks, from any address or device, is self-dealing. Buying your own passes with a card that is not yours is theft. Both are easy to see, and both are why a lot of balances get frozen on other platforms without explanation. Here it is written down: do not do it.

6Your page and your prices

These are ticked before a handle can be claimed or a price set, and they are the rules the page is judged by.

  • The handle is your own name or brand. Not somebody else's, not a company you do not own, not Linktain's, and not a word that makes the page look official.
  • Nothing on the page, in the bio, in the picture or behind any link on it may be sexual, adult, violent, hateful, illegal, pirated, fake or deceptive. The full list is section 5 of the Terms, and every line of it is a termination on first sight.
  • The bio and every link title say what the link really is. No bait, no fake downloads, no invented giveaways.
  • A pass promises that every link you have opens for the time it covers. Keep them open. Refunds we give for links you pulled come out of your balance.
  • Prices are yours, $0.99 to $79.99, and the price shown is the price charged. No hidden extras and nothing else to buy behind a pass.
  • No fake traffic to the page or the links: no bots, no bought clicks, no incentivised completion, no completing your own gates, no buying your own passes.
  • One person, one account, one handle. Handles are not for sale or transfer.
  • We take down pages, handles and plans that break these rules without warning. Repeat breaches end the account, and money earned in breach is not paid out.

7One account

One account per person. Running several to get around a limit, a rate, or a termination means all of them go.

8What happens when you break one

Depending on what it was: a warning, a limit that keeps your links serving while holding payouts, a suspension, or termination. A first breach of section 2 is a termination. Every one of them is recorded with a reason and the reason is shown to you. Terminating an account does not delete money you already earned honestly.

9If you think we got it wrong

Reply to the message telling you what happened, or reach Andrew on Telegram or Discord. Decisions get looked at again. A short factual account of what your traffic actually is will get further than volume.
